Wolves come into this game winless in the Premier League after three games, and sitting 18th in the Premier League.
Bruno Lage’s men have lost two of their opening three league games and have just one point on the board following last week’s narrow 1-0 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur.

Wolves are now winless in ten Premier League matches stretching back to April’s 2-1 home win over Aston Villa, and will need to turn their form around sooner rather than later. They did win 2-1 against Preston mid-week in the Carabao Cup and will hope that win can give some positive momentum to take into the league.
They come up against a Newcastle United team unbeaten in all competitions so far this season, after their 2-1 win at League Two Tranmere Rovers on Wednesday (August 24) followed Sunday’s entertaining 3-3 draw with champions Manchester City at St James’ Park. Newcastle have not won at Molineux in their last four attempts, last coming out on top in the Midlands in February 2017, when both sides were in the Championship.
Here’s what you need to know ahead of the clash

As for Newcastle, Callum Wilson will be monitored ahead of the clash after limping off during the draw with Manchester City with a hamstring injury. Dan Burn was also forced off in the same game with a suspected concussion and could also miss out.
Emil Krafth will definitely miss out after being taken off on a stretcher in Wednesday’s win over Tranmere, while Jonjo Shelvey is a long-term absentee after thigh surgery. Ryan Fraser could also be missing for the Magpies after missing the Tranmere clash, but Martin Dubravka could return to the bench after illness.

It is not yet clear whether new record signing Alexander Isak will be cleared to play, after joining from Real Sociedad.
