Wolves predicted starting line-up vs Newcastle United as new signings unleashed & Traore call made

Wolverhampton Wanderers are back at home in Premier League action this weekend with Newcastle United the visitors to Molineux.

Both Wolves and the Magpies go into the game off the back of midweek Carabao Cup victories which saw them progress into round three of the competition.

The two made a host of changes midweek with one eye on the league fixtures ahead and with the gold and black still winless in the top flight, they will be going all out to correct that statistic this weekend.

A full hand of Bruno Lage’s summer signings could get the nod from the start in what, on paper, looks set to be an incredibly entertaining game.

Here’s the starting line-up that BirminghamWorld believe Wolves will field on Sunday afternoon.

GK - Jose Sa

A return to the eleven after Sarkic was given a run out midweek.

RB - Jonny

Nelson Semedo played well in his return in the Cup but Jonny should start here.

CB - Max Kilman

He and Collins have formed a real good partnership at the back.

CB - Nathan Collins

Quickly cemented himself as a starter following his arrival from Burnley.

LB - Rayan Ait-Nouri

Ait-Nouri will have a tough job dealing with Saint Maximin but he’s shown he can hang with the best before.

CM - Joao Moutinho

Moutinho’s experience will be invaluable against a revitalised Magpies side.

CM - Ruben Neves

First name on the team-sheet.

CM - Matheus Nunes

Nunes has already shown his class in his appearances since joining from Sporting Lisbon. Completes a very talented middle three.

RW - Adama Traore

Traore played well midweek and scored an absolute rocket. If he’s fit enough to do two games in a week after some time out injured, could be rewarded with a start here.

ST - Raul Jimenez

The goal midweek will do his confidence the world of good. Could be reinvigorated now he’s got better players around him this season.

LW - Goncalo Guedes

Had a solid start to his life with Wolves even though injuries have forced him to play a little out of position. Sunday should see him return to his favoured spot of the wing.
