Fans of Peaky Blinders are being challenged to put their detective skills to the test in a treasure hunt across Birmingham, with the chance to win a behind-the-scenes experience.

The Black Country Living Museum has hidden two flat caps at locations around the city as part of its 'Hide and Peak' scavenger hunt, taking place today (November 6).

Participants can follow the museum's social media channels for clues and hints to help them track down the hidden items.

Those who find one of the caps will discover a unique code inside, which can be used to claim a pair of tickets to the museum's Peaky Blinders Filming Location Tour.

The 90-minute walking tour takes visitors around the historic streets and buildings used in the hit television series, including Charlie's Yard and the canal towpaths.

Led by a costumed guide dressed in period clothing, the tour includes stories and behind-the-scenes details about the show's connection with the museum, where filming began in 2013.

The prize also includes entry to the museum's 29-acre site, where visitors can explore its historic shops and houses, working industrial areas and recreated 1940s to 1960s high street.

Hannah Parsons, head of development and communications at the Black Country Living Museum, said: "There's no denying that Peaky Blinders has become a global sensation, and we're incredibly proud to be at the heart of its story here in the Black Country.

"We're excited to launch this scavenger hunt in Birmingham giving fans the opportunity to find the iconic flat caps and win tickets to our official Peaky Blinders Filming Location Tours."

More information about the hunt is available on the Black Country Living Museum website.
