Alison Hammond has taken to Twitter to give her 452,000 followers a glimpse of her cooking skills. The This Morning presenter, 48, from Birmingham, captioned the post: “Morning ! I’m in the mood for food”.

In the video she showcases her culinary versatility, showing off a range of dishes from sweet bakes and desserts to savoury main courses. It’s fair to say all of the dishes look delicious, and her fans certainly agreed.

One user said: “Looks lovely and yummy”. Another revealed Alison’s cooking made them so hungry that they had to resort to eating their lunch early whilst at work, writing: “Morning Alison so am I I've just eaten tuna pasta bake for brekki at work have a great day enjoy whatever you eat x”.

Alison has set high expectations for her cheffing abilities. She even recently invited Prince William and Princess Kate to sample her cooking.

Ahead of King Charles III’s coronation, the Prince and Princess of Wales visited Birmingham’s jewellery quarter to meet with local business owners and workers in the creative industry. During their visit, Alison Hammond spoke with both halves of the royal couple, and even played darts with Prince William.

They visited a popular brummie restaurant, the Indian Streatery, where the heir to the throne took a phone call for a reservation. Of course, Alison invited the royal couple to her house for dinner on their next visit to the city.

Alison has been announced as the next co-host of the Great British Bake Off. Her cooking skills have certainly come a long way, as two years ago, she burned a pan whilst cooking during a live broadcast on This Morning.
