Alison, who has just been announced as the new co-host of The Great British Bake Off, has been enjoying her Easter break after ITV’s This Morning faced a presenter shake-up this week.

Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammon had replaced Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield last week on the ITV show as the regular presenters took some time off.

However, the pair were then replaced this week by Craig Doyle and Josie Gibson who have quickly become fan favourites.

Alison was seen enjoying her time off with This Morning’s therapists Nik and Eva as she hosted them in her hot tub.

Nik and Eva shared a photo of the trio in Alison’s back garden, saying: “Sorry you couldn’t join us for a cocktail in Alison’s hot tub @Hunted_HQ!  We had a great time! Thanks so much for looking after us @AlisonHammond, we love you #celebrityhunted

Nik and Eva are currently appearing on Channel 4’s Celebrity Hunted as part of the television station’s Stand Up To Cancer fundraiser.

The photo of the trio enjoying their Easter break comes just days after Alison was forced to issue an apology for her comments made about theatre-etiquette.

It followed the news that a violent brawl had broken out at The Bodyguard in Manchester last week, which led to riot police attending the theatre.

During the debate about audience members singing over the cast, the This Morning presenter said: “I can’t believe it. I’d be devastated. I’m not even going to go to that show now.”

Alison has since published a public apology to her Twitter account, after facing backlash from viewers and theatre staff for not acknowledging how disrespectful the audience had acted.

People were quick to raise the issue of how behaviour of theatre audiences impacted performers and staff, with many actors sharing their personal experiences across social media.

In her apology, Alison told her over 447,000 followers: “I had no idea the level of disruption audiences were causing and tried to make light of the topic on Wednesday’s show, and for that I’m truly sorry.”

The debate has caused a stir on social media with many celebrities coming out to support Alison, including former The Bodyguard actress Beverly Knight and comedian Katherine Ryan.
