Tom Brady has sent a passionate message to Birmingham City as they gear up for the Vertu Trophy final against Peterborough United at Wembley.

The NFL legend, who owns a minority stake in the club, recorded a video addressed to both the team and the tens of thousands of Blues fans making the trip to London for the 3pm kick-off.

“There comes a point in every athlete’s career where everything—every sacrifice, every ounce of effort—leads to one defining moment,” Brady said. “This is that moment. You’ve earned the right to be here. Now go finish the job.”

The final is the perfect capstone to a huge week for Birmingham, who not only sealed promotion with a midweek win at Peterborough but also secured the League One title after Wrexham’s draw on Saturday.

Club chairman Tom Wagner also reached out to fans with a message of pride and anticipation. “I’m on my way to Wembley and I can’t wait to stand with you all on what should be a landmark day for this club,” Wagner said.

“After everything we've achieved—promotion, the title—this is a chance to celebrate it all.
