The final is the perfect capstone to a huge week for Birmingham, who not only sealed promotion with a midweek win at Peterborough but also secured the League One title after Wrexham’s draw on Saturday.
Club chairman Tom Wagner also reached out to fans with a message of pride and anticipation. “I’m on my way to Wembley and I can’t wait to stand with you all on what should be a landmark day for this club,” Wagner said.

“Let’s make it a day to remember, and let’s not forget the grit it took to get here. Huge credit to Lyndon for that brilliant semi-final goal that got us to Wembley. Now let’s go finish strong.”
