As Birmingham City fans prepare for the clash at Wembley, they have been warned of significant motorway delays that could impact their travel plans.

Blues fans heading to Wembley are being warned of a long delay on the motorway.

National Highways reports 120-minute delays on the M1 southbound at Junction 18, Crick Interchange, due to waterproofing works and an up-and-over closure.

As of 12.30pm, National Highways said: “There are currently delays of 2 hours on the #M1 southbound within J18 near #Crick #Northampton due to planned waterproofing works that are taking place An up and over closure is in place at J18 @BCFC #VertuTrophy #RoadtoWembley.”

Many Birmingham City supporters driving to Wembley take the M6 and join the M1 at Junction 19, Catthorpe Interchange—making this a key stretch to watch.
