The Platinum Jubilee bank holiday is almost upon us, and many shoppers will be hoping to head into town over the next few days as they enjoy some extra time off.

The bank holiday begins on Thursday, 2 June, and runs until Sunday (5 June).

It’s a great excuse to indulge in some retail therapy and where better to do it than the Bullring and Grand Central?

But does the shopping centre have different opening and closing times over the bank holiday weekend? Here is what you need to know before you head off.

Bullring and Grand Central Platinum Jubilee bank holiday opening times

The Bullring will have slightly different openng hours on Thursday and Friday and close an hour earlier.

This means it will be open from 10am until 7pm on Thursday and Friday instead of 10am until 8pm.

But it will operate normal opening hours on Saturday and Sunday, meaning it will be open from 9am until 8pm on Saturday, and 11am until 5pm on Sunday.

All car parks will also be open as usual over this bank holiday period.

What’s going on at the Bullring during the bank holiday?

At Bill’s this week, the restaurant is pulling out all the stops kicking off with their special edition Platinum Jubilee Menu.

You can enjoy the Nation’s Favourite Fish and Chip Burger, the Platinum Eton Mess, limited edition breakfast items such as the Queen Almighty Breakfast & the Jubilee Royal.
