Her Majesty The Queen is the first ever British Monarch to mark 70 years of service and to celebrate the government has given us all a four day bank holiday weekend from Thursday, 2 June to Sunday, 5 June - that’s one day extra as the end of May bank holiday is included in this one.
The four days of celebrations will include many community events and street parties across Birmingham with many set to get the bunting out and enjoy a bit of pomp and pageantry - and maybe a bowl of the newly crowned platinum pudding!
