7 wonderful winter walks in & around Birmingham through woods & parks

An incredibly popular park in the city, Cannon Hill is a wonderful place to get your family or a group of friends together for a walk around. With a fantastically maintained green space, you have plenty of space to breathe and wander around for a few minutes or many hours. The river, boating lake, and canoe pool are beautiful backdrops, and the wide parkland allows you to enjoy the cool autumn air and occasional bout of sunshine. In addition to the 80 acres of parkland, there is also a further 120 acres of woodland and conservation area, so if you prefer to stay in the shade and watch the birds, Cannon Hill has you covered too.
