What’s a defence? Birmingham City player ratings vs Coventry City

It was far from a Good Friday for both defences at St Andrew’s

Birmingham City threw away a two goal lead to lose 4-2 at home to Coventry City on Good Friday.

Headers from Marc Roberts and Gary Gardner put the Blues in front before Ben Sheaf bagged his first two goals for the visitors and leveled things up before the break.

A free header from Michael Rose (from yep, a corner), midway through the second period completed the comeback for the Sky Blues before Callum O’Hare added the icing on the cake following more absolutely comical defending from a Birmingham perspective.

All six goals were avoidable, all six goals were pretty schoolboy, in truth.

Here’s our player ratings from a game that neither defence will want to watch back in a hurry.
