Wolves vs Chelsea injury news - as seven players ruled out and two doubts for Premier League clash
and live on Freeview channel 276
Wolverhampton Wanderers are back in Premier League action on Saturday afternoon as they take on a Chelsea side with fresh management. Without a victory since March 4, Wolves will be desperate to get back to winning ways but it won’t be easy as The Blues are likely to be buoyed by Frank Lampard’s return.
There has been some positive news on the fitness front that could boost Wolves, however, as energetic winger Hwang Hee-chan is finally ready to be included in the matchday squad. The South Korean has had a torrid time of late as he injured his hamstring in February and then was hurt again on his return.

Boubacar Traore has been working well in training but was not in the squad at the weekend. He remains a doubt but could come in with a fresh selection headache for Wolves’ head coach.
Said headache has of course been caused by Ruben Neves’ suspension, as the star man picked up his 10th yellow card of the campaign at Forest. The midfielder will miss the next two games, against Chelsea and Brentford. Jonny Otto is still suspended and will be back for the trip to Leicester City. Daniel Podence is available despite allegations of spitting.
Elsewhere, it is just the two long-term absentees in Sasa Kalajdzic and Chiquinho who add to the list of those ruled out for Wanderers on Saturday. Both suffered serious knee injuries earlier in the campaign and full training is set to resume in pre-season.
Ruled out: Neves, Jonny, Kalajdzic, Chiquinho. Doubts: B. Traore.

Earlier in the week, coach Bruno Saltor revealed - as interim manager at the time - that Chelsea have a fully fit squad bar four players. Club legend Cesar Azpilicueta is due back in mid-April following a nasty head injury, whereas veteran defender Thiago Silva faces a similar return date with a knee problem.
Meanwhile, reserve goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli is a doubt as he is currently undergoing some recovery work, but striker Armando Broja will definitely miss out as he is ruled out for the rest of the season with a ruptured ACL. N’Golo Kante is now fully match-fit after starting Tuesday’s draw against Liverpool.
Ruled out: Azpilicueta, T. Silva, Broja. Doubts: Bettinelli.
