Serie A club plans transfer talks with Everton, Nottingham Forest and Wolves target

Italian club Torino are reportedly hoping to steal a march on several Premier League clubs as they plan to hold talks with a free agent striker.
The Scottish Sun is reporting that Torino are planning discussions with Che Adams and are hoping to 'beat' Wolves to his signature. Adams has been a long-term target for Wolves, whilst Everton and Nottingham Forest have also been linked with a move for the forward.

Hide AdPaolo Vanoli, previously the assistant manager at Chelsea under Antonio Conte has taken charge at Torino and has identified Adams as a player of interest. He is looking for someone to partner Duvan Zapata and that could be Adams.
According to Football Insider, an offer has been made to Adams by Wolves, and they are awaiting his decision. Adams was involved at EURO 2024 with Scotland, and despite the Scots going out in the group stages, the forward is continuing with his break whilst his representatives work on his next move.
As he is no longer under contract at Southampton, he did not need to report to pre-season, but will be keeping himself fit ahead of his next move. Wolves would be keen to sign Adams now as last summer they had an £18m bid turned down for him so this opportunity is as good as it gets for one of their long-term targets.
Adams has seen his international teammates Aaron Hickey and Lewis Ferguson move to Serie A, and that could convince him to make the move. Torino's interest in the player has come late in the day, but they are now regarded as 'strong suitors'.

The first two weeks of July have gone, and some Premier League teams back in for pre-season training, so a decision might be needed sooner rather than later.
Wolves and 29 players have been on a warm weather training camp out in Marbella, which included new signings Strand Larsen, Pedro Lima and Rodrigo Gomes. Jose Sa, Nelson Semedo, Joao Gomes and Pedro Neto have been afforded a rest following their involvement at EURO 2024 and the Copa America.
Both Boubacar Traore and Enso Gonzalez also didn't travel as they are set to play at the Olympic Games in Paris this summer, whilst Nathan Fraser is nursing a minor injury, so he will recover back home.
