Wolves transfer latest: Adama Traore update and interest in Barcelona prospect

One Premier League club look to have made the Spanish winger their primary target this January

The future of Wolves winger Adama Traore continues to dominate the headlines as Spurs look to make the Spanish international their first signing of the transfer window.

The Star have suggested Traore is the ‘number one priority’ for Spurs manager Antonio Conte as he aims to make the former Barcelona man his first addition since he was named as successor to former Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo earlier this season.

Spurs initially enquired about a possible loan deal for Traore - and now believe they can get a cut-price deal as the winger only has 18 months remaining on his contract.

Speculation midfielder Joao Moutinho could leave Molineux for Serie A giants Roma has been dismissed.

Former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is said to be an admirer of the Portuguese international - but Italian outlet Calcio Mercato have said Roma have denied having any interest in signing the Wolves star.

Young defender Dion Sanderson is a target for a number of Championship clubs.

The centre-back enjoyed a successful spell with League One side Sunderland and was recently recalled from a loan at Birmingham City.A return to Birmingham has been mooted and QPR and Millwall have also expressed an interest in Sanderson - but he is not believed to be a target for Bristol City according to the Daily Mail.

Barcelona prospect Riqui Puig is the subject of interest from Wolves according to Sport.

The young midfielder has struggled to find his way into the plans of Ronaldo Koeman or his successor Xavi and has made only one La Liga start this season.

The report suggested Puig could be secured on a loan move with the agreement of a permanent deal at the end of the season.

Another player that could arrive at Molineux is Celtic youngster Mitchell Frame according to Football Scotland. The 15-year-old is said to be the target for a number of clubs with Spurs, Crystal Palace and Wolves all mentioned as a possible destination for the young defender.
