Baggies faithful all say same thing as West Bromwich Albion claim point at promotion rivals Hull
West Brom remain fifth in the Championship table following their 1-1 draw at Hull on Saturday
West Bromwich Albion fans on social media have been sharing their verdicts on the Baggies’ 1-1 draw with Hull at the MKM Stadium.
Carlos Corberan’s side came from a goal down to secure a point against their promotion rivals, thanks to Darnell Furlong's clever downward header before half-time.
The draw keeps the Hawthorns outfit fifth in the table and a point above the Tigers. The away point also comes just days after Tuesday night’s impressive 3-0 win on the road at Plymouth.
West Brom are next in action on Friday, when they play host to Coventry. Ahead of that game, Baggies fans are feeling positive following a ‘good draw’ at Hull.
Here’s a selection of the views shared on X, formerly Twitter...
@heal1979: 4 points in a week with our away record vs Plymouth & Hull is a great effort.
@mister_em79: I'll take that tbf. 11 points from a possible 18 in Feb from some challenging looking fixtures, only one defeat in those 6, and that was Soton. Some winnable looking games in March. Onwards and up the Baggies!
@DBasher87: Absolutely buzzing with that result. Great character from Corberan and the boys. Top point against a really good Hull team. Will do our confidence the world of good.
@wbaharvv: Unlucky not to get 3 points. Pieters excellent. Diangana poor. great point tho. UTA.
@BigAjayi: Great point could’ve gone either way. Other than Johnston I thought all our forward players had off days but away against a quality side like Hull where we didn’t have a lot of the ball that was always a possibility.
@le_lebouf76: A point away from home against a well coached Hull side who contain some very talented individuals tops off a very good week after the 3 points at Plymouth. 4/6 from the 2 away games is a super return.
@arjun_ssk: Big point that.. beat Coventry & we’ll start pulling away from those below.
@PaulGainham: Overall today was an excellent game between two really good sides. Corberan got the high press tactics and subs spot on. #wba
@JThurstance: Good draw. Defence turned up again. Sky robbed Furlong of MOTM. That quality up front is the difference between us and promotion right now #WBA.
@Martw90: Excellent point today. Four points from two tough away games this week, you can't ask anymore than that. Rest up lads and we go again on Friday night! #wba.
