West Brom’s top goal scorer for the last two seasons could be on his way out of the club after a club met the Baggies’ valuation.

West Brom have reportedly agreed to sell Brandon Thomas-Asante to Hull City.

According to Football Insider, the Tigers have made a bid of £3m to the Baggies for the 12-goal striker, and that has been accepted. An offer of £2.5m was submitted on Monday (July 20) and now that has been increased by £500,000 and now a deal is 'inching closer'.

Thomas-Asante is reported to be a top target for Hull who are looking to splash the cash after selling Jacob Greaves and Jaden Philogene. Liam Delap was also a reported target for them after spending time on loan with the Tigers last season but he has signed for Ipswich Town, and so they have moved on to BTA.

The 25-year-old has a year remaining on his deal at the Hawthorns, and West Brom have decided to cash in. He's been the top scorer for the last two seasons, and now they will be tasked with bringing in someone that can fill the void that will be left by Thomas-Asante if he decides to move to Humberside.

A £3m sale to Hull would represent a significant profit on the £300,000 that West Brom paid to Salford City in August 2022. In the two seasons, he's been at the club he's scored 21 goals in 78 games.

Thomas-Asante is the second player that West Brom have reportedly agreed to part ways with. Okay Yokuslu has reportedly agreed a three-year deal with Trabzonspor in a deal worth £1.3m. Carlos Corberan will receive money from the player sales to reinvest back in to the squad with the emphasis being on reducing the wage bill after letting a string of experienced players leave this summer.
