Wolves and Everton 'considering' bids as Arsenal star now 'desperate' to leave

The Old Gold are keen on signing wantaway Gunners ace Eddie Nketiah this summer as they look to address their obvious need for a new centre-forward.
An array of Premier League clubs are interested in signing Nketiah, who is growing increasingly frustrated by a lack of game time at the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal’s rather public pursuit of Red Bull Leipzig attacker Benjamin Sesko hasn’t helped matters, either, as Nketiah looks set to fall even further down the pecking order.

Hide AdSun Sport reports Arsenal are reluctantly planning to let Nketiah leave in the coming months despite the fact he’s highly regarded by head coach Mikel Arteta. The striker is said to be desperate to depart for first-team football, something that’s becoming less and less realistic of a prospect in his current surroundings.
It’s claimed Fulham are in pole position to sign Nketiah but Wolves and Crystal Palace are expected to offer competition over a permanent deal. Everton, meanwhile, are interested in a season-long loan deal – an approach Arsenal may be more willing to accommodate considering Arteta’s fondness for the player.
Wolves considering their striker options
Gary O’Neil is on the hunt for a new attacker after many a selection headache last season. There were times during the winter and spring when Wolves didn’t have any fit senior forwards available whatsoever, forcing O’Neil to play inexperienced youngsters ahead of schedule.

Wanderers don’t have a significant transfer kitty to play with unless they make several big sales, meaning business must be done in an astute fashion. Southampton star Che Adams has been heavily linked as the former Birmingham City man will soon be available on a free transfer.

Hide AdConsiderations should be made for Nketiah as the 25-year-old probably has a higher ceiling than Adams. The one-time England international has scored 38 goals in 168 senior appearances since emerging from Arsenal’s youth academy. He’s only left the club once, on loan at Leeds United during the 2019/20 campaign.
