Defender eyed

Aston Villa are reportedly keen on Manchester United defender Harry Maguire and could try and bring him to Villa Park on loan, according to The Sun. The report claims that the Midlands outfit are ‘watching’ developments as the England international faces an uncertain future at Old Trafford.

The former Hull City and Sheffield United man has slipped down the pecking order under Erik ten Hag over recent times. Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked with him.

Midfielder available for transfer

The Athletic report that Aston Villa will look to ‘offload’ Morgan Sanson following Youri Tielemans’ arrival from Leicester City. The Frenchman has struggled to make an impact since moving to England and will be given the green light to head out the exit door over the next couple of months if the right offer comes in for him.

Marvelous Nakamba is also expected to leave on a permanent basis after helping Luton Town gain promotion from the Championship against the odds. Leander Dendoncker is also said to be attracting interest from elsewhere from other teams.
