Hide AdVilla are finally closing in on a deal to sign Rory Wilson from Rangers.
The young striker has been linked with a move for weeks, and it emerged earlier this month that the two clubs had agreed a suitable compensation package.
After a period of quietness, a fresh report has now emerged from the Daily Record, claiming Wilson has now checked in for his medical.
The deal expected to be completed within the coming days, with the initial fee believed to be around £350,000.

Trezeguet latest
Trezeguet is said to be on the brink of agreeing his Villa exit.
According to Fanatik via SportWitness, Fenerbahce are ‘close’ to securing a deal worth just under £2.6million.
Trezeguet, who joined the club for £8.5m from Kasimpasa back in 2019, is no longer required at Villa, and he will now go elsewhere, as long as he can agree personal terms.

That would reportedly make Trezeguet the joint-highest paid player, along with Marek Hamsik.
