Aston Villa and Wolves' summer net spend compared to Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool

Hide AdAs per the above data, Aston Villa had a net spend of £28.7m. They signed the likes of Onana, Ian Maatsen, Lewis Dobbin, Samuel Iling-Junior, Ross Barkley and Enzo Barranechea to bolster their ranks, whilst Jaden Philogene returned to Villa Park.
In terms of outgoings, they cut ties with Moussa Diaby, Douglas Luiz, Tim Iroegbunam and Alex Moreno, among others. These exits helped free up space and funds in their squad.
