Fabrizio Romano posts major photo update as Wolves close in on £11.3m signing
The Old Gold are set to complete the acquisition of Ajax forward Carlos Forbs on a season-long loan deal with an option to buy.
Transfer news journalist Fabrizio Romano has posted an exclusive photo of the player on a plane ready to travel to England for his medical. If the tests are passed, the former Manchester City man will put pen to paper on his contract.

Hide AdOur sister publication, Express & Star, reported earlier on deadline day that Wolves had agreed a loan deal with a purchase option of €13.5 million (£11.3 million). Wanderers fans worried about a lack of quality and depth in the attacking areas can relax as - barring any dramatic late changes - Forbs will become the latest Wolf to join the pack.
The Old Gold have been in the market for a Premier League-level winger ever since Pedro Neto’s £52 million departure to Chelsea several weeks ago. It now appears they will get the first man they were linked with, albeit very late on in the window and with some late stress attached.
Wanderers would also have ideally a replacement for Maximilian Kilman, who left in a £40 million deal to West Ham United, but options have been limited. Central defenders that are both available and of the level of quality required are few and far between.
