The West Midlands boasts some seriously talented exports, from movie stars and musicians to world class football players.
Recently, we’ve had a look at the famous faces - actors, musicians and even politicians - who were raised in and around Birmingham. Now, we’ve decided to take a look at the famous celebrities who grew up in nearby Wolverhampton.
Many famous people grew up in the city which has plenty to offer. It’s steeped in history and has its prestigious football club, Wolverhampton Wanderers, of course. ‘Wulfrunians’ are extremely proud of their city.
And many actors, sportspeople and legendary musicians all come from the area. With this in mind, we’ve taken a look at the most famous people who are from Wolverhampton - let’s take a look:

5. Jim Lea

6. Anya Chalotra
The actress is primarily known for her role as Yennefer of Vengerberg in the Netflix original series The Witcher, as well as the tv series Wandelust. She was born in Wolverhampton and grew up nearby in the village of Lower Penn, in South Staffordshire | Gareth Cattermole/Getty Images

7. Jacqui Oatley

8. Caitlin Moran
Born in Brighton, Moran lived in a three-bedroom council house in Wolverhampton with her parents and siblings growing up. The Times journalist and author was named British Press Awards (BPA) Columnist of the Year for 2010, and both BPA Critic of the Year 2011 and Interviewer of the Year 2011.
