Women across the globe are being celebrated for their impressive achievements - whether that is on the world stage or in their own homes.

This year’s International Women’s Day on Tuesday March 8 is themed on breaking the bias.

The movement seeks to create a works free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination - while being diverse, equitable and inclusive, and celebrating and valuing difference.

BirminghamWorld spoke with people across the city to find out how they view International Women’s Day.

There were many different viewpoints - but there was one common theme. Women are doing amazing things and deserve to be celebrated.
