Bookings for the Link Street venue are now open and not only can you bowl there but also play retro arcade games, beer pong stations and indulge in karaoke. The social gaming venue is only for 18+ people and is due to open on Friday, October 6.

Bullring and Grand Central are also welcoming M&S - which is moving from its Birmingham High Street location, as well as a Nike Rise concept store - which will be the first of its kind outside London. The new store will take a 13,000sq ft unit on Rotunda Square when it opens this winter.

Other new openings include Shokupan by Gup Shup, which was formerly called Gup Shup and was located in Colmore Row. This restaurant will open in Grand Central in October 2023. The shopping centre previously welcomed award-winning Pan-Asian restaurant, Banana Tree, on St Martin’s Walk where Rouge was previously situated.

What the Lane7 group said about opening a second venue in Birmingham

Tim Wilks, Director at Lane7 Group, previously commented: “Birmingham has been a strong city for Lane7 since we opened our first site. Our sustained success meant we needed something bigger in Birmingham, but, keen to evolve the Lane7 concept, we also wanted something special.

“This is where Bullring & Grand Central came in. That Hammerson is leading the way with how it is evolving its portfolio was evident from our very first discussions. We have worked together to create the ideal space and I am confident we will deliver a new standard for experiential leisure in the city.”
