New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Sandwell’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Saphari, at 188 Causeway Green Road, Oldbury was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on September 12.

And Burger Boi, at 30 Birmingham Road, Great Barr was also given a score of five on August 19.

It means that of Sandwell's 274 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 189 (69%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
