Wolves are reportedly considering QPR boss Michael Beale for their managerial vacancy but have not made an official approach. The Premier League side remain in the hunt for a new boss following their decision to sack Bruno Lage following their slow start to the season.

Steve Davis is currently in caretaker charge and guided the team to a much needed 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest yesterrday with Ruben Neves scoring the only goal of the game from the penalty spot. According to a report by the Express and Star, the Midlands outfit are looking into a potential move for Beale now and he has become the latest name to be linked. However, no move has been made as of yet.

Beale’s career to date

Beale played for Charlton Athletic and FC Twente during his brief playing days before calling time on his playing career at the age of 21. He delved into the coaching world and had early spells at Liverpool and Sao Paulo.

He then worked under Steven Gerrard at both Rangers and Aston Villa before landing the QPR job over the summer. He has since impressed with the Championship club and they currently sit 4th in the league table. However, he is now being linked with a departure from the R’s already and their supporters will be praying that he stays put.
