Wolves are targeting a ‘move’ for Toulouse attacker Zakaria Aboukhlal this winter, according to Foot Mercato. Vitor Pereira is keen on luring the Morocco international over to England before the end of the transfer window.
The Midlands outfit are battling to preserve their Premier League status this season. They are currently sat in 17th place and are above the drop zone on goal difference above Ipswich Town.

Wolves could see Aboukhlal as someone to bolster their attacking department. If he made the switch to Molineux before the deadline, he would give them more competition and depth going forward.
The 24-year-old is valued at £8.4million on Transfermarkt. He has been on the books at Toulouse since 2022 and is under contract with the Ligue 1 side until June 2026 meaning he still has over a year left on his deal.
He has made 74 appearances in all competitions for his current club to date and has chipped in with 24 goals and seven assists. The winger has found the net on six occasions so far in this campaign.
The Holland-born man started out at GVV Raptim and GVV Unitas before Willem II snapped him up. He then rose up through their academy before PSV came calling.

Wolves in FA Cup win over Bristol City

Wolves won 2-1 away at Bristol City in the third round of the FA Cup this weekend. Rayan Ait-Nouri and Rodrigo Gomes got their goals at Ashton Gate, whilst Scott Twine scored for the hosts.
Speaking after the victory, Pereira said: “Very good first half, in my opinion. The last five minutes of the first half we conceded some opportunities. We gave them confidence, from our throw in we lost one or two balls, and they scored at the end of the first half. In the first half, we had a chance to score more goals, and with 3-0 maybe we close the game, but for half-time they went with confidence, and we went with some doubts. To close this game we needed to score the third goal.
“Second half, we had two chance to score the third goal, but they have quality, and they started to believe, and we didn't have the quality, in my opinion, to keep the ball with us, and in the game of transition it’s difficult to control the game. In the moment that we should keep the ball, we lost the ball. They have a good team, and it’s the cup, it’s a fight. We work it, we fight it, we suffer together, defending together, compact, and this is football. It's not easy.”
He added: “Generally, I'm happy, because the first half was, in my opinion, very good against a good team. The second half, this is the FA Cup.”
