Wolverhampton Wanderers have confirmed striker Fabio Silva has swapped the number 29 to don the nine shirt at Molineux, confirming the Portuguese talent will be staying at the club.
The 21-year-old had been heavily linked with a potential move to Europe – whether that be temporarily or permanently – but a succession of starts has secured his future.

Hide AdGary O’Neil’s side are still trying to bring in an attacking reinforcement with talks on for Che Adams and Boulaye Dia, but Silva is definitely going to be part of Wanderers’ plans for the season ahead.
Silva, who spent last campaign on loan at Anderlecht and PSV Eindhoven, has scored just five goals since signing from FC Porto for £34 million in 2020 but is hoping to make a redemption.
The striker has played in all three of Wolves’ opening Premier League fixtures this campaign and will be competing with Matheus Cunha, Sasa Kalajdzic and a potential new signing for starts.
