Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly in talks with West Ham United over a deal for Aaron Cresswell.

According to the Daily Mail, Wolves are looking to pay around £2.5million for the 33-year-old full-back. The report states that Wolves are also in discussions with Bristol City over a £25m deal for midfielder Alex Scott.

Cresswell has been at West Ham for nine years, and made over 330 appearances for the club. He was also part of the side which won the Europa Conference League over Fiorentina last season.

Meanwhile, Wolves have reportedly added Manchester City midfielder Tommy Doyle to their transfer shortlist this summer.

Julen Lopetegui’s side have already had two bids rejected for Bristol City wonderkid Alex Scott and are therefore looking for potential alternatives if that deal can’t be pulled off.

The 21-year-old, who scored four goals and assisted seven last term, was a key player for the Blades. He also scored the goal to take his side to the FA Cup semi final.

Sheffield United would like the player to return to Bramall Lane on a permanent basis but Wolves are interested in hijacking that potential deal with an approach of their own.
