Leeds United’s takeover from 49ers Enterprises has finally been completed after months of speculation in Yorkshire. 49ers already had a 44% stake in the club but majority shareholder Andrea Radrizzani has agreed to sell the final 56%.
The necessary checks have now been finalised and the group behind the NFL franchise San Francisco 49ers have taken over at Elland Road. They will oversee the Whites’ attempt to return to the Premier League at the first time of asking after being relegated in May.
