Wolverhampton Wanderers will have a huge advantage going into the Premier League clash with Liverpool at Anfield as the Reds have confirmed that at least seven players will be out through injury.

Captain Jordan Henderson, Curtis Jones, Naby Keita, Ibrahima Konate, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Calvin Ramsay and goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher will all definitely sit out whilst Fabio Carvalho could also miss the contest.

It’s been a turbulent start to the season for Jurgen Klopp’s side who have been hit drastically through injury over the course of the summer and in the opening weeks of the season.

The ongoing problems have had an adverse affect on results and performances too with their most recent outing ending in a humbling 4-1 defeat to Napoli in the Champions League.

Wolves have of course had injury troubles of their own in the early stages of the season.

Chiquinho and Sasa Kalajdzic both suffered ACL problems which will see them miss a large chunk of the season and Raul Jimenez is said to be suffering with ‘chronic fatigue.’
