Supercomputer predicts final Premier League table: Where Aston Villa, Wolves, Everton, Leicester & Nottingham Forest sit

The Premier League has already been throwing up a number of shock results in the opening weeks of the season.

Aston Villa became only the second team so far this season to take points off of current Premier League champions Manchester City, holding them to a 1-1 draw at Villa Park on Saturday.

It was an extremely positive result for Villa after a rough opening month or so which saw them hovering in and around the relegation zone for the most part.

The draw with Man City was just another case of a surprise result in the early stages of the campaign, though.

There have been multiple shock results early doors including Brentford’s dismantling of Manchester United and Liverpool’s poor start to the campaign.

It’s heating up to be one of the more unpredictable Premier League campaigns ever with any number of teams looking like they could fill one of the three relegation spots whilst the title race isn’t looking nearly as straightforward as it has done in the past.

The data experts over at FiveThirtyEight have been delving into the statistics and have given a full in-depth look at how they expect the Premier League table to look come May.
