The future of Wolverhampton Wanderers’ star midfielder Ruben Neves is still up in the air amid the constant transfer talk linking him with a move away from Molineux.

Neves has been attracting interest from a number of clubs around Europe including La Liga giants Barcelona but transfer insider Gianluca Di Marzio believes that remaining in the Premier League could provide the ‘right solutions’ for the 25-year-old.

Speaking to German website wettfreunde, Di Marzio says he expects both Arsenal and Manchester United to be the two that battle it out the most for the Portuguese maestro.

“They (Arsenal) want Ruben Neves from a long time, so I think they will try to get him,” he explained.

“Arsenal wants to have new midfielders, strong midfielders. Surely, Ruben Neves is one of them.

“The Arsenal project is a project with a coach that loves an offensive play style and Arsenal is perfect for him.

“It depends on what Ruben Neves wants to do, if he wants to play Champions League or not.

“It depends on Arsenal’s budget because they have to buy a lot of players. I don’t know if it is limited or not.”

“Arsenal and Man Utd next season, they want to do new projects,” he added.

“Man Utd with Ten Hag and new players, changing a lot of players.
