‘Likely’ - Wolves receive boost in £19.8m transfer pursuit of West Ham star
Wolves target Said Benrahma is ‘likely’ to be sold before the January transfer deadline, according to a report.
Benrahama has been linked with a move to Molineux, as well as Brentford and Fulham, along with Marseille and Lyon. He has fallen out of favour under David Moyes and now Football Insider say that he along with Maxwel Cornet are to be sold before the February 1 deadline.

Last week, manager David Moyes confirmed a bid had been rejected for the Algeria international.
“I do believe Marseille made a loan offer,” Moyes said on Friday.
“I didn’t know about it after the [Bristol City] game. As far as I know, it was knocked back anyway.

“The truth is it’s probably 50/50. I’ve got no absolute definitive saying somebody else is going but yeah, there's noises in the background that maybe some other people may go.
“We probably wanted some outs before we had people coming in. I said our budget isn't huge in this window. There's lots of reasons why there's probably not a lot of signings going on.”
Benrahma is serving a suspension after being red carded last Tuesday against Bristol City in the FA Cup. He has been limited to 12 starts in the 22 games he's played this season and has just one goal contribution.

Fabio Silva joined Rangers on loan at the beginning of 2024, whilst Sasa Kalajdzic joined Eintracht Frankfurt. Several names have been linked including Armando Broja and Danny Ings but they are yet to make a breakthrough.
