Wolves could be forced to act after it was reported Leeds United are preparing a bid for one of their transfer targets.

Football Insider has linked Wolves with a move for Larne striker Jack Hastings, and they and Leeds aren't the only clubs said to be interested. Premier League rivals Crystal Palace want Hastings, as well as Championship outfit Southampton, and a move in the January transfer window is being eyed, according to Football Insider.

NIFL Premiership side Larne are said to be 'braced' for bids, and both Premier League and Championship clubs have sent scouts to watch over the striker in action.

The 17-year-old made his debut for Larne in the Irish Cup back in January of this year. He mainly plays for Larne's under-20's team, and has got 20 goals for their age-grade team. Should any club secure his signature, it would be likely that he would join their academy teams, rather than their seniors.

In other news, Wolves might face transfer disappointment over another reported transfer target in Royale Union Saint-Gilloise star Mohamed Amoura according to Sport Witness. The striker has 'great interest' from English clubs, and Wolves are one of the clubs listed in the report.

Wolves face competition from Brighton & Hove Albion however, and they have a great advantage in any potential deal for Amoura. Brighton's owner has a stake in Saint-Gilloise, and that would make a potential transfer 'much simpler and smoother'.

Amorua has 13 goals and an assist in 15 games in the Belgian Pro League this season. The 23-year-old attacker also played in six of Union SG's Europa League games, and got a goal and an assist against Liverpool earlier this month.

His main position this term has been centre-forward, but is capable of playing as a left-winger and in attacking midfield. Amoura is under contract until 2027 having only joined from FC Lugano this summer, and according to TransferMarkt is worth €10.00m.
