Wolves boss Cesar Peixoto lays down the law after unbeaten run
Peixoto has told his Wolves stars to keep their feet on the ground ahead of a trip to Bristol City.
Cesar Peixoto has urged Wolves to stay humble as they look to keep their momentum going.
Wolves are unbeaten in four and have won their last two, leaving them firmly on the front foot as they hunt down the sides above them.
But boss Peixoto is taking nothing for granted. Pleased with his side’s upturn after a difficult return from the international break last month, he insists there can be no let-up as Wolves look to keep the momentum rolling at Bristol City.
He said: “We’ve won two games (in a row), but we haven’t lost for four games. In the last four games we won, we drew and we won the last two, and that’s consistency.

“I don’t stay too angry when I don’t win, sometimes the team don’t play like I want, I stay angry because of that but I don’t stay like that.
“I know what the team needs, I know the Championship is too long. We won 3-0, a good victory, but I don’t stay thinking everything is OK or not OK.
“We have to keep our players humble, find the right plan, recover the players as soon as possible and go again to try to win all the games.
“I want to try to win all the games, if it’s away or at home, because that’s consistency and we have to maintain our focus.”
Bristol City head into the game on the back of a dramatic 3-2 win over Bolton Wanderers, ending a four-game winless run with a stoppage-time winner.
But home form remains a concern, with the Robins losing their last two at Ashton Gate and three of their previous four.
However, Peixoto knows his side will need to be at their best to extend their unbeaten run.

“For sure it’s going to be difficult,” he said.
“We’re going to go to try to win the three points, we have to analyse the team, look at the players who stay more fit to play the game.
“Look at our individual characteristics and the characteristics of the opponent team also to try to find the right plan for this game and go to try to win again.”
