West Brom, Rangers, QPR and Cardiff City in six-team transfer tussle for Stoke City free agent


West Brom are hoping to bolster their front line as they eye reportedly eye up a move for Tyrese Campbell.
According to the Daily Mail, the Baggies along with four other Championship clubs are chasing Campbell's signature after he was released by Stoke City. Campbell is said to be weighing up his options and has Sheffield United, QPR, Preston North End and Cardiff City all lining up to sign him.

Hide AdThe 24-year-old could also be offered the chance to play in the UEFA Champions League with Rangers understood to be showing an interest. The Mail adds that Campbell is keeping his options open, as he makes a big decision over his future, with his next club being just the third of his career.
He began his career at Manchester City, but later moved to Stoke City in a deal worth £1.75m in 2018. Campbell has experience albeit brief of playing in the Premier League, having made four appearances for the Potters in their 2017/18 campaign.
After their relegation to the Championship, he was loaned to Shrewsbury Town and hit five goals in 15 games, and when he returned in the summer he managed to break in to the first-team picture at the Staffordshire outfit.
Born in Cheadle Hulme, Campbell a two-time England under-20 international, scored 36 goals in 164 games for Stoke, and also played his part by getting 21 assists.

Hide AdLast season, Campbell spent time out on the sidelines with an injury, but was able to play his part in helping the club secure their Championship status after flirting with relegation. He played 23 times for Stoke under Alex Neil and later Steven Schumacher, getting four goals.
Tyrese is the son of former Arsenal and Everton striker Kevin Campbell who sadly passed away last month. Campbell Snr played for West Brom for a season-and-a-half, scoring six goals in 49 games.
