A player that left West Brom earlier this year could get the chance of playing European football.

Former West Brom winger Rayhaan Tulloch has signed with a club playing in the UEFA Conference League.

Tulloch's contract with the Baggies was terminated in February, and he signed a short-term contract with Shrewsbury Town. The Shrews opted to move him on after one appearance and now the forward has found a new home.

The 23-year-old has put pen-to-paper on a 'multi-year' deal with League of Ireland side Shelbourne. He returns to Ireland having had a loan spell with Dundalk, whilst he was contracted to West Brom.

His move to Shelbourne represents the fourth club he has been at since joining Dundalk on loan in February 2023. Tulloch had a successful spell at Oriel Park, notching up five goals in 18 games before a six-month loan spell at Bradford City, where he registered two assists and a goal.

Speaking to the official club website, Tulloch said: "Looking forward to getting going and delighted to sign for Shelbourne FC, it’s a brilliant club with ambition and a good working environment. I’m familiar with the league and excited to come back and play in it.”

Tulloch will find himself playing under former Blackburn Rovers, Chelsea, Fulham and Newcastle United winger Damien Duff. Duff was a two time Premier League winner with Chelsea, and has been in football management since 2016.

Commenting on the arrival of Tulloch, Duff said: "Ray may of only spent 6 months in the LOI last season but the whole league remembers him. He left his mark with his wonderful dribbling style and his ability to affect games in a big way.

"He is another great addition to our squad. I thank the board for helping us get the deal done so quickly and also for putting so much belief in what the players are doing.”

Tulloch has joined too late to be a part of Shelbourne’s squad for their UEFA Conference League first round qualifiers. They face St Joseph’s of Gibraltar with the first leg getting underway at the Europa Point Stadium today (July 11) at 5.00 pm. If Shelbourne progress then Tulloch can be added to their squad for the next round.
