Former West Brom defender Lee Peltier is still without a club as he is faced with a key decision in his career.
Peltier was released by Rotherham United in the summer following the Millers' dismal campaign which saw them relegated from the Championship. Rotherham finished a whole 24 points behind Plymouth Argyle, and there were 18 points between them and second from bottom Huddersfield Town. Steve Evans took charge towards the end of the campaign, and made the decision to let Peltier leave.

The former Liverpool youngster spoke of his desire for a mental reset before his Rotherham United departure was confirmed. He’s taken time out of the game to rest with his family, but hasn’t committed to the idea of retirement.
At 37-years-old, it’s unlikely that a club would be willing to offer him a multi-year deal, unless it had the possibility of him also doing some coaching work. With Peltier playing more than half of the season last year, he has proven he still has so much more to offer to the beautiful game.
In September, he returned to former club Cardiff City as they faced Leeds United, to celebrate the life of his former teammate Sol Bamba who sadly passed away. With just under 600 career appearances under his belt, Peltier has had a career many could only dream of.

He was limited to just seven appearances during his time at the Hawthorns, and played no part in their promotion to the Premier League. Peltier was released just a few months after signing, but re-joined, and ended up playing four times in the top-flight.
