West Brom travel to Kenilworth Road to face Luton Town in the EFL Championship on Friday (November 1) night.

West Brom team news

Two new injury concerns popped up on the weekend as Paddy McNair was forced off just minutes in to the game against Cardiff City. He had to be helped off as he walked off gingerly to be replaced by Callum Styles.

Semi Ajayi was also forced off as he was replaced by Mason Holgate. Ajayi and McNair’s injuries come as a blow as Kyle Bartley will be out for at least a month with a knee injury, and so they could be left short for centre back options.

Speaking after the game, Carlos Corberan said; “It looks like a hamstring injury on Paddy and looks like a knee problem on Semi and that's when you add to the Bartley knee injury it is a more challenging moment for the defensive line.

“The only one I can offer is that Bartley will be four to six weeks out of the team, that is all I can confirm so far."

McNair was starting his first home match for West Brom, having played the entirety of the game against Blackburn Rovers. He's on loan from MLS side San Diego until January, and so there are only a few games left on his deal, before he’s meant to head Stateside.

Daryl Dike meanwhile suffered a set back in his latest attempt to return from an Achilles problem. The USA striker picked up a hamstring issue in training, and so his return has been delayed for the time bing.

Luton Town team news

Centre-back Amari'i Bell has been out since mid-September. Another centre-back Teden Mengi has been missing for the last three games. Tom Lockyer remains unavailable for selection with his career currently on pause, but he returned to their training ground in August to do some rehabilitation work.

Another defensive option in Mads Andersen is likely to be unavailable. He's been limited to just one league appearance this season which came as a substitute at the end of September against Plymouth Argyle, since then he's not been involved in a match day squad.

Reece Burke hasn't been involved in the last two games. Luton will also be unavailable to call upon Tom Holmes who picked up a second yellow card against Coventry City, and will serve a one game suspension. Alfie Doughty picked up his fifth yellow card of the season, and will also miss out due to suspension.

Reuell Walters has been playing through the pain barrier after breaking his foot. It's suspected he could have broken it as early as the September international break, and he was forced to withdraw from international duty with England's under-20s.

Centre midfielder Shandon Baptiste is out too. He missed all of September but returned in early October against Sheffield United, but has since missed the last three games.

Out: Amari’i Bell, Teden Mengi, Mads Andersen, Tom Lockyer, Reece Burke, Alfie Doughty, Tom Holmes, and Reuell Walters
