West Brom have apparently looked at signing Aberdeen midfielder Ross McCrorie along with fellow second tier Norwich City. That’s according to a report by Bristol Live, who claim Bristol City are hoping to win the race for despite him being ‘wanted’ by other clubs like the Baggies.

The 25-year-old, who is a former Scotland youth international, joined his current club in 2020 and has since made 112 appearances for them in all competitions. He rose up through the youth ranks at Rangers and played 55 games for their first-team, as well as having loan spells away at Ayr United, Dumbarton and Portsmouth to gain experience.

Birmingham City man reveals stance on future

Birmingham midfielder George Hall has insisted he is perfectly happy with the Blues amid links to Premier League pair Leeds United and West Ham. He has said, as per Birmingham Live: “I’m not really focusing on that. Whatever happens, happens. I am happy at Blues and that is where my focus is.”

Hall, 18, is being tipped for a bright future in the game and John Eustace could face a battle to keep hold of him down the line. He has been on the books at St Andrew’s since 2012 and has progressed up through the academy ranks. The England youth international played 30 matches last term and chipped in with a couple of goals as he looks to build on that next season.
