Birmingham City travel to the New Meadow for the third time this year as they face Shrewsbury Town in their first League One fixture after the international break.
Blues ran out 4-0 winners when the two sides met in the EFL Trophy in October. Scott Wright was twice on target that night along with Emil Hansson but neither of them will play at the weekend, however Tomoki Iwata who netted should play a part.

Hide AdEmil Hansson and Scott Wright are not expected to return this weekend either. Both haven't played for the club since mid-October and are still a few weeks away. Luke Harris had to withdraw from the Wales squad due to illness but has seemingly recovered.
Lee Buchanan hasn't played a competitive game this season but is closing in on a return. He could play in a behind-closed-doors match on Friday in training, and whilst that could potentially rule him out for Saturday, at least he could come in to the reckoning soon.
Alfie Chang remains unavailable after he wasn’t registered. The academy graduate suffered a serious knee injury last season and has been working on his fitness. As he is over the age of 21, there is no free squad slot, and Birmingham haven’t registered him.
As for Shrewsbury, Joshua Kayode is a long-term absentee. Morgan Feeney has an ankle injury that has had him sidelined. Aston Villa loanee Josh Feeney is in line to play, despite suffering a hamstring injury in the EFL Trophy.
