It has already been a hectic summer for Birmingham City as they prepare for the new Championship season.
Six new faces have arrived with a permanent deal for former loan star Dion Sanderson topping the bill but there have been some eye-catching additions elsewhere. Manchester United youngster Ethan Laird and Leeds United forward Tyler Roberts have both agreed to form part of John Eustace’s squad and Krystian Bielik has returned to the club after a spell with Derby County.
Winger Siriki Dembele has joined from Premier League club Bournemouth and Japan international Koji Miyoshi completed a free transfer switch from Belgian club Royal Antwerp.
But what comes next for Eustace? Could the Blues consider a venture into the free transfer market and make a move for a player that departed their former club earlier this month after their contracts came to an end? BirminghamWorld assesses nine free transfer options available to Eustace and the Blues hierarchy.
