Birmingham to sell midfielder for ‘significantly less’ than valued price

Jobe Bellingham’s move away from St Andrew’s has almost been finalised, having agreed terms for a four-year deal with Sunderland. That’s according to Sunderland Nation, who report that the 17-year-old will make the move up north, providing there are no last minute hiccups.

However, because he has just one year left on his current contract with Birmingham, it’s likely that Sunderland will sign him for ‘significantly less’ than the initial £3 million price tag that had been reported.

Unless something major happens last minute, Bellingham will be making a move to Sunderland in the summer transfer window for a fee in the region of £3 million.Unless something major happens last minute, Bellingham will be making a move to Sunderland in the summer transfer window for a fee in the region of £3 million.

Bid submitted for record-scoring Blues target

Birmingham City may be set to miss out on signing the prolific Alfie May from Cheltenham Town this summer. The 29-year-old, who is now the Robins’ highest goalscorer in the EFL, has a lot of clubs in the running for him right now, and Charlton Athletic have taken the lead by submitting an offer.

According to GloucestershireLive, the Addicks are the first club to make a bid for May, as they look to beat the likes of Birmingham, Derby County, Millwall and Huddersfield. Even League Two sides Wrexham and Gillingham are said to be monitoring his situation.

Seven-figure Millwall bid accepted for 12-goal striker

Millwall are one step closer to signing Kevin Nisbet after they had their recent offer accepted by Hibernian. According to the Edinburgh Evening News, the fee is worth £2.2 million including add-ons and the deal would also include a sell-on clause. Nisbet missed the majority of this season due to an ACL injury but upon his return, he netted an impressive 12 goals.

Millwall are the front-runners for Nisbet’s signature having been close to signing him back in January. With just one year left on his current deal, Hibs are also looking to cash in sooner rather than later, before his market value depletes.
