Birmingham City predicted starting line-up vs Norwich City - Numerous changes made for League Cup clash
Stick or twist for Blues in the Cup - that is the question.
What a start to the season it has been for Birmingham City.
Yes, we’re only two games in and yes nobody is getting too carried away but with the complete barrage of negativity that was being thrown about prior to the campaign - four points against sides that were in the play-offs last year is nothing to be sniffed at.
Tuesday evening poses a completely different task though and one that has maybe left John Eustace with a few tough decisions ahead of him.
Birmingham take on Norwich City who are yet to land a win this campaign in round one of the Carabao Cup.
Does Eustace continue going full strength with confidence flowing for the contest? Or does he mix things up and give some of the players that have been on the fringe a chance?
It’s an interesting scenario but given the squad depth or lack-of that Blues currently have at their disposal, it maybe best that the majority of those among the starters are given a break when possible.
With that in mind, here’s the eleven BirminghamWorld predict may start from the off in Norfolk.

1. GK - Neil Etheridge
Lost the number one shirt to John Ruddy this season but will likely get the start in cup competitions.

2. RB - Jordan Graham
Could be in line for his first start of the season.

3. CB - Nico Gordon

4. CB - George Friend
The veteran central defender to get his first start, if, like Gordon, deemed fit enough.
