Former Birmingham City midfielder Jude Bellingham is expected to join Liverpool next summer, according to reports.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have had a difficult start to the Premier League season, taking just two points from nine in their opening three games, and Monday night’s (22 August) defeat to Manchester United highlighted their need for midfield reinforcements with a number of key players currently out injured.

Birmingham will be paying close attention to any deal involving Bellingham, with the club believed to have a sell on clause in his contract after they sold the midfielder to the German club for around £25 million in 2020.
Liverpool will likely have to wait to secure Bellingham’s services, with Dortmund reportedly slapping a record-breaking €120million price-tag on the England man. That’s according to German outlet SportBild who claim Dortmund are willing to do everything to keep the teenager this summer.
If a club were to cough up the apparent €120million asking price, it would make 19-year-old Bellingham the most expensive British player in history.
