'There are still days...' - Unai Emery reveals Aston Villa transfer state of play

There are 16 days remaining in the transfer window, which shuts on Friday, August 30 at 11.00 pm. The window shuts before the Villains travel to the King Power Arena to face Leicester City in the Premier League.
Villa will have to submit a squad list to the Premier League and to UEFA, because of their participation in the Champions League. Every club has to work by the rules placed in front of them, and one rule in England, is that squads must have no more than 25 players over the age of 21.

Speaking on talkSPORT to Jeff Stelling and former Villa midfielder Andy Townsend, he was asked if a manager was ever happy with his squad. He said: “Of course I want to be competitive, every day and in every transfer window and all of the season.
“We are now trying to work in a different way and add players in our squad and improve the, and we did it. There are still days for us to do something. We have to try to allow players to leave for us in the next two weeks because we are in the squad of 25 players.
“We are always trying to be close if some players if they are in the transfer window and they can help us improve the squad, of course. We are happy and we signed the players that we wanted. The players are working very well.
