Former Aston Villa, Spurs, Leeds United, Celtic, Liverpool and Wolves man leaves manager's job
Former Aston Villa and Wolves striker Robbie Keane is leaving his role as Maccabi Tel Aviv manager.
The 43-year-old is leaving Israel after just less than a year in charge. He signed a two-year contract at the Bloomfield Stadium, but is cutting his stay short by a year.

Hide AdKeane led Tel Aviv to the Israeli Premier League, finishing seven points above Maccabi Haifa. He also guided the club to the Round of 16 in the UEFA Conference League, exiting the competition to eventual winners Olympiacos who also beat his former club Aston Villa.
"It has been a tough decision for me to leave Maccabi Tel Aviv FC," said Keane to the Independent.
“I would like to thank all the players, coaches, owners and especially the fans for making this an unforgettable season.
“I am very proud of everything we have achieved together as a team and, of course, most proud of the hard work and dedication which resulted in us winning the league and Toto Cup (League Cup) thus guaranteeing Maccabi a Champions League spot next season.

Keane has been coaching since March 2018 after taking over from Teddy Sheringham as player-manager of Indian side ATK. His spell in charge only lasted three games and then he held coaching roles with th Republic of Ireland, as well as Middlesbrough and Leeds United.
