On Thursday evening alone, there were six first teamers in action - some taking part in friendlies whilst others were involved in more important qualifying fixtures.

Two teammates even saw themselves lining up against one another as Scotland took on Poland in a friendly at Hampden Park - John McGinn and Matty Cash turning rivals for the evening.

Carney Chukwuemeka starred for the England U19s earlier in the week bagging a brace whilst Aaron Ramsey and Tim Iroegbunam also put in good performances alongside him on the night.

Thursday night however saw more of the senior men take the field. McGinn, Cash, Robin Olsen, Philippe Coutinho, Bertrand Traore and Leon Bailey were all in action.
