‘Club’s an utter joke’ - Aston Villa reaction to Ismaila Sarr deal falling through

Aston Villa’s deal to sign Watford and Senegal international Ismaila Sarr has fallen through.

Sarr, 24, looked all set to join the Villans as late as Sunday evening but a stumbling block surrounding the structure of the deal emerged at the final hurdle and looks to have all but ended any hopes of a transfer.

The Telegraph report that at this stage in the proceedings, any potential deal is ‘unlikely to be resurrected.’

News surrounding the break down in the transfer has brought with it mixed reaction from the claret and blue fanbase online with some seemingly relieved whereas others are anything but.
